The Challenge

The consumer electronics market in India is crowded, commoditised, and largely indistinguishable. Most brands in the space compete on specs and price. SnapUp's promoters had a different vision entirely: a community-first brand that Gen Z would actually want to belong to, built around headphones, earphones, speakers, and smartwatches, with the aspiration to grow into a full lifestyle brand.

The challenge was to build an identity that could carry that ambition. Not just a logo for a gadget company, but a brand world that felt alive, energetic, and genuinely appealing to a generation that can spot inauthenticity in seconds.

The Solution

Every decision started with the audience. Gen Z does not respond to corporate polish or safe design. They respond to brands that have a point of view and commit to it fully.

The yellow and black palette was chosen with purpose. High contrast, immediate, unapologetic. Yellow carries energy, optimism, and youth without the tech-bro coldness of blue or the aggression of red. Black grounds it, gives it edge, and makes the yellow hit harder. Together they are impossible to ignore on a shelf, a screen, or a social feed.

The identity was built to scale. From product packaging to retail presence to digital content, the visual system needed to work across every touchpoint a growing consumer brand would encounter. The logo mark was designed to be distinctive at small sizes on earphone packaging and bold at large sizes on retail signage.

The tagline "Snap Up Your Life" was developed to do more than describe a product. It is a call to action and a community statement. It gives the brand's audience something to identify with beyond the hardware.

The startup sound extended the identity into audio, a rarely considered but deeply memorable brand touchpoint. The first thing you hear when a SnapUp device powers on is the brand. That moment of connection happens every single day for every user.

The identity built in those early days still runs through all of it.
